Avondale House's Challenging Autism Luncheon 

Avondale's largest annual fundraiser returns Monday, April 13, 2015 to The Junior League of Houston. For this year's program, "Everyday Heroes Tackling the Spectrum," we are thrilled to welcome John Harris, football analyst and sideline reporter for the Houston Texans.

In addition to being a parent of a child with autism, John is a true football buff, with achievements throughout his career both on and off the field. He joined the Houston Texans organization in April, 2014, and also writes articles for HoustonTexans.com and contributes to Texans Radio and Texans TV on a regular basis. He lives in Houston with his wife Paige and their two children Jack and Maye. Jack, now 15, was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when he was in elementary school.
