Reaching for the Stars Luncheon 

Avondale's largest annual fundraiser returns Monday, March 31, 2014 to the Junior League of Houston. For this year's program, "Reaching for the Stars," we are thrilled to welcome former astronaut Dr. Scott Parazynski as our guest speaker.

Dr. Parazynski is a space traveler, Everest climber, inventor, physician and, perhaps most notably, an Avondale House parent; his daughter attends Avondale's day school. Join us to hear Dr. Parazynski share the challenges and rewards of his personal accomplishments, along with those related to raising a child on the autism spectrum.
