Effective Treatment for Sexually Reactive Children

Fresh Start for Children Assessment and Diagnostic Homes, a service of Intercept’s LifeBridge Continuum of Care, is proud to offer a free lunch and learn training on Effective Treatment for Sexually Reactive Children by Cyreeta Price, LCSW.

Cyreeta Price is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).  She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and graduate degree in social work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University.  Cyreeta has been providing community-based and residential mental health services in Virginia since 2004. She specializes in treatment modalities with children and families whose lives have been impacted by trauma to include sexual and physical abuse.  

Participants will learn how to identify children demonstrating sexually reactive behaviors and effective treatment strategies.  Cyreeta will discuss statistics on sexual abuse, healthy stages of sexual development, facts about healthy exploration, therapeutic interventions, and steps to protect others. 

Who should attend: Social Workers, Educators, Parents, Probation Officers, Counselors, FAPT and CPMT Members and anyone interested in the welfare of the youth in our communities.

Registration is limited to 75 participants, lunch will be provided.
