Presented by David Kochendorfer

About David:

David Kochendorfer founded Achieve Results in February 2012 after spending several years leading facilities and organizations that were privately and publicly held.  Achieve Results mission is to assist entrepreneurs and business leaders obtain what they want from their business by providing business advisory solutions for profitable growth.  David joined the Eau Claire Small Business Development Center in January 2014 to assist entrepreneurs with business start-ups.

Prior to starting his own business David served as CEO and was responsible for leading an organization during a market decline of over eighty percent.  During the market decline the business increased market share by over twenty-two percent and profitability increased over seventy percent resulting in doubling the business valuation.

Prior to serving as CEO David served in small, mid-sized and large organizations both unionized and nonunionized.  He has expertise in Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Engineering and Human Resources.  David has held senior leadership positions such as CEO, COO, President, VP of Operations and General Manager.  His experience and responsibility includes multiple facilities and a maquiladora in Reynosa, Mexico.

David had his first opportunity to lead a facility for a large corporation at the age of twenty-seven.  Through employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement strategies the facility moved from the fourth facility in the division to first.  David attributes his accomplishments to his parents.   His parents were both teachers and his father was also an athletic coach.  David learned that if you lead by serving others to help them succeed while building a great team for engagement you can accomplish the unthinkable.

David’s philosophy and leadership has been recognized in articles published in Wood Window and Door and Enterprise Minnesota.  He has also volunteered his time for Junior Achievement, The Wausau Manufactures Executive Steering Committee and coached youth football, baseball and basketball.

David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology from UW Stout, a Micro MBA from St Thomas University and has completed several continuing education classes through the University of Michigan.  David also holds certifications in Lean and TOC (The Theory of Constraints).
