Policy Track - National, State and NYC Policies Driving the Wireless Sector

We will hear from policy makers from all levels of government with their various perspectives on wireless regulation, particularly on wireless and other broadband infrastructure deployment. With new regulations from the FCC that recently go into effect, an ongoing statewide review of telecommunications policy  and other developments such as Wi-Fi kiosks in NYC, this session will help attendees understand the important role of various local, state and federal government agencies and how they intersect.

Technology Track – 5G & Beyond: Emerging Technologies

Approximately every 10 years a new generation of mobile technology appears and 5G is now emerging.   What is 5G?  New frequency bands, unimaginably fast speeds, significantly reduced latency, vast system capacity and inanimate objects connected to 5G networks will lead to smart cities, driverless cars, telemedicine and the “internet of things.”  What does 5G mean for you and your business?
