This innovative course will provide clinicians with an understanding of the anatomy, physiology an function of tracheostomy and ventilator dependent patients.  Attendees will gain cursory knowledge in performing an efficient medical chart review and initial evaluation.  Clinicians will understand the utility of  speaking valves, troubleshooting and patient/caregiver education.
                                                     
Program fee:  $125.00 for speech therapists
