Participants will become more familiar with the state methodology of wetland delineation through practice sessons, case studies and a field session; they'll be introduced to plant identification and shown how to use the DEP manual Delineating Bordering Vegetated Wetlands under the MA Wetlands Protection Act. Focus is on wetland vegetation and understanding the BVW Delineation Field Data Form: Section 1. Vegetation. Lunch and DEP manual Delineating Bordering Vegetated Wetlands under the MA Wetlands Protection Act are included. Bring pen/pencil and pocket calculator. Field work in the afternoon. Limit 15.
