Creating Our Vision for the Future

Join nursing colleagues and nursing students at the premier Nevada nursing convention of the year, which will be held November 30-December 1 at the beautiful Grand Sierra Resort in Reno. Take advantage of this great opportunity to earn CEUs while networking with Nevada nurses and vendors from around the country.

Keynote Speakers

Keynote speaker, Seun Ross, will present "Applying Innovation to Nursing Challenges". She will present the national perspective on 

Dr. Ross is the Director of Nursing Practice & Work Environment at the American Nurses Association (ANA). She is also a published author, and lecturer on many topics within her research interests, which include evidence based practice, nurse retention, competency and developing/mentoring the novice RN. She is currently the President of the Chi Zeta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society, a member of the Academy of Healthcare Executives and holds certifications as a family nurse practitioner and nurse executive-advanced.

Dale McCoy, nationally-recognized expert on organizations and human systems development, will  present a 2 hour workshop, "Getting Better at Getting Better", designed to assist new or potential nurse managers, or those who want a refresher, to development the management skills to improve their results in performance management.

Join us on Thursday evening for a fun and entertaining "Nurses Have Talent" event. The Event boasts live professional performers along with nurses & student nurses  competing in the "Nurses Have Talent". All nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Student Nurses interested in performing need to contact Talent@nvnursesfoundation.org and will receive Free admission with approval from the Entertainment Director. All proceeds support Nevada nursing scholarships, recognitions, and grants.
