Presentation Topic:
Gary Gallegos, Executive Director of San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will discuss SANDAG 101 Plus and share SANDAG’s current and future priorities, plans, projects and funding. 

About the Speaker:
Gary Gallegos is a nationally recognized expert in transportation, land use, regional public policy making, and bi-national planning and diplomacy. 

SANDAG is the leading research, planning, and transportation agency for the San Diego region. The agency builds consensus; makes strategic plans; obtains and allocates resources; plans, engineers, and builds public transportation, and provides information on a broad range of topics pertinent to the region's quality of life. Agency policymakers are elected officials from each of the area’s 18 cities and the county.

Mr. Gallegos leads a staff of about 350 professionals who develop public policy initiatives for elected officials on numerous issues encompassing population growth, transportation, environmental management, economic development, municipal finance, binational coordination, and public safety.

PRICE: ASCE Section Members: $27 / Non-Members: $37 / Agency: $12 / Students:$10

Price reflects online registration and payment through PayPal. Additional $3 for registration with payment at the door. Students always $10.

PAYMENT: Credit card through PayPal in advance. Cash or check taken at the door for additional $3. Make checks payable to ASCE and bring with you to the luncheon. Parking will be validated. 

MENU: Lemon herb roasted chicken with saffron rice and vegetables. Vegetarian plate is available but must be requested by 9 a.m., Friday, October 21!

May we suggest if you are unsure of your schedule that you opt for walk-in registration the day of the event for the most flexibility. If you choose this option, your meal choice may not be guaranteed and there will be an additional charge of $5 added to the cost of the lunch.
