The Bus Association of New York's (BANY) Annual Meeting and Marketplace will be held October 21-23, 2018. This year our event will be back at the historic and picturesque Otesaga Resort Hotel located in Cooperstown, NY. We take this opportunity to invite you to join us!

BANY’S agenda is perhaps highlighted by our keynote speaker, John Kennedy. John, a nationally renowned industry speaker, author and strategist, will focus on the growing need for leadership to move the industry into the future. This keynote session covers all areas of our industry from the motorcoach operation to sales and hospitality. His high energy, business acumen and enthusiasm will be sure to set our meeting off on a positive and energetic path! He returns in the afternoon with a session on balancing “high tech and high touch” to meet customer expectations. Don’t we all need to hear how to meet today’s customer expectations?! John has spoken at BANY before and we can’t wait to introduce him once again!

 The meeting agenda is filled further with additional educational and informative presentations. Speakers from the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration will address our group followed by questions and answers with time permitting. Representatives from the nation’s leading bus associations, the American Bus Association and United Motorcoach Association, will highlight the latest information on legislative and regulatory issues facing the industry.

Specific seminar topics include succession planning, the impact of ELD’S on daily operations, attracting the “mysterious millennial” as well as human trafficking and driver recruitment and retention. We also will be updated from the Department of Motor Vehicles and on the issues our industry faces in New York City as a destination. The 2018 agenda is filled to capacity with important and pertinent presentations that are sure benefit all of our delegates.

Aside from the formal sessions, you will have the opportunity to browse vendor tables as well as step-on to a number of motorcoaches on display. Talk with company representatives – nothing is more valuable to your business than informal one-on- one time with vendors. 

And speaking about one-on-one time, let us not forget, the BANY Marketplace where delegates have the opportunity to meet with operators in a five minute session. Whether you are a supplier or a tour and travel representative, this is your time to sell your product, destination or venue! Get ready for the shuffle every five minutes!
