Emerald Day: Edmonton 

Join us on September 30 at Louise McKinney Park for a family friendly day of environmental inspiration. The day will include:

- a morning of tree planting with Roots for Trees,

- EcoPitch - an youth event inspired by televisions Dragons Den where youth groups have a chance to win funds for their environmental projects,

- Presentations by Emerald Award recipients Ann Smreciu, & Root for Trees' Katelynne Webb and Catherine Falk.

- a community barbecue

- a family friendly, environmental movie under the big-top (Wall-E)

The first 50 people to register will receive a ticket for a free hotdog or hamburger, drink and chips as well as a special Emerald gift to help or inspire your own environmental stewardship.
