Call for Volunteers

The Clark County Bar Association's New Lawyers Committee is helping to organize volunteers to judge the law students during the competition rounds. CCBA seeks the help of Nevada lawyers, judges, and mediators. (Volunteers must be a law school graduate at least.) Volunteers will be provided with instructions and materials regarding the competition(s), as the date approaches.

About the Lloyd D. George Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition

Each year, students throughout the country join together at Boyd to participate in the Lloyd D. George Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. The competition is a regional version of the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition, which is hosted annually by the American Bankruptcy Institute and St. John’s University School of Law. The George Competition provides these students with an invaluable opportunity to argue before bankruptcy practitioners and judges prior to the Duberstein competition.
