Workshop: How to apply for jobs in Germany 

Dreaming of working in Germany? Come join us as we host two information sessions about the how-to's of applying for a job in Germany.

First impressions, like here in the United States, play a decisive role in an application.  If an employment application is not carefully done and is full of errors, it will be discarded by the head of personnel.  To avoid that happening, learn what needs your particular attention.

We are offering two training dates.

Session I: Saturday, May 9, 2015, 10:00am - 1:00pm
Admission: $52.50 for Goethe Members, $75.00 for non-members
During this session, there will be a general overview of the following topics:    

• Forms of address
• Cover letter
• Background
• Past work references
• Other applicable references and certifications

Session II: Saturday, May 30, 2015, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Admission: $87.50 for Goethe Members, $125.00 for non-members
During this session, we will go much deeper into the application and résumé process, especially how to handle important points in an interview.

This workshop will be facilitated by Mrs. Martina Kraus, holder of a graduate degree in business management.  She has successfully worked as a personal instructor in the area of how to conduct a job search.  She will offer pointers for your own job and assist in its planning.
