The 2016 Officers and Board of Directors of TABA invite you to join us in Ft. Worth for the "2016 Spring Conference and Claims Workshop".  We look forward to making this another learning and networking opportunity for our members and associates.  We have an Ethics Course, a session on Hospital Transparency, Free Market Medical,  Air Ambulance Costs, a session on Transplants and more.  We will also have a presentation on the current status of TDI's  proposed rules on Stop Loss Insurance.

Claim's Workshop sponsored by Fairmont Specialty

We are also offering a stand alone claims workshop with Karen Schwabacher that is being sponsored by Fairmont Specialty.  It will be a day and a half and is titled  "New Cracks in an Unstable Wall -- The Impact of Health Care Reform on Fraud and Abuse".  The workshop wil cover Substance Abuse, Addiction Treatment, Pain Management,  Urine Toxicology and Physical Therapy.   Be sure to share this information with your claims staff.

Hotel

The downtown Hilton has been a part of the Fort Worth landscape since the 1920's. It is now a nationally registered historical landmark.   It is the hotel where President John Kennedy spent his last night and made his final address to approximately 2000 people in the Crystal Ballroom on November 22, 1963.  The Hilton Fort Worth hotel’s location in the heart of downtown Fort Worth puts it in the middle of great architecture, art and popular attractions. Downtown’s mixture of cowboy culture and urban sophistication makes it an exciting place to be, with many restaurants and bars in the popular Sundance Square. 

It is a very popular destination - so make your reservations early.  TABA's special room rate is $165, but is only guaranteed until April 1st.  Click on the Hotel logo on the left to go to TABA's Hotel Reservation Page.

Registration

Conference registration rates are listed below.  There is a discounted rate for additional registrants from the same company.  Your dues must be current to register at the “Member rate”.  Contact Phyllis Campbell if you are not sure about the status of your dues.   Late fees apply after April 11th.

 

Exhibitors Space & Registration

Exhibitor space will be around the perimeter of the conference meeting room.   Each exhibitor will have a 6' table top exhibit space.  Booth space will be assigned in the order registrations are received.

All Exhibitors will be sent an electronic copy of all conference attendees with their contact information after the conference.  There will also be a listing of registrants in the conference notebook that is on the flash drive you will receive when you check in at the conference.  Pricing for exhibit space is as follows:

TABA Member - $750.00 (includes one conference registration)

Non-Member - $1500.00 ( includes one conference registration)

Additional registrants are $325.00 each

 Exhibitors are included in all activities, meetings, golf, and the reception and dinner on Monday evening.  The cost for the reception at the Reata Restaurant on Monday is included in your registration fee.  It is a social event for additional networking opportunities.

Golf

There will be reserved tee times for those who want to play golf on Monday morning.   The Hawk's Creek Golf Club is located in  Westworth Village, at 6520 White Settlement Rd.  There will be prizes  and you can register and pay for golf on the registration page when you register for the conference.

There are golf sponsorships available,  as well as tee box signs for your company's name that you can purchase.  Pricing is on the sponsorship registration page.

Sponsorships

We have sponsorships available.  We appreciate our sponsor’s help.  You are an integral part of our conference and we couldn’t do it without you!  There is a document attached that lists the sponsorship levels, so you can look at the pricing and what is included with the sponsorship before you register.  You can register for a sponsorship on the same page that you register for the conference, or you can contact Phyllis Campbell about sponsoring.  Her contact info is on the left.  If your sponsorship includes a free registration, select "Sponsorship Only" in the registration section and the appropriate sponsorship below.

On Monday evening we will have a dinner immediately following the reception for all attendees and exhibitors.  It is included in the registration fee.  It will be in the conference hotel.  The event will be social and part of your networking time with the attendees.

After you register to attend (the link is below for online registration) we need two things from you.

1)  Please submit a one paragraph description of your company for the Conference Notebook.  Please include contact information and website.  You may includes a small logo (not necessary if you sent one last spring).

2)  Please download the "ExhibitorsPacket".  It has the Contract and Service Agreement in it.  Please complete them and return it by email or mail.  Please note that your exhibit space is not reserved until you return the contract and payment.  Send all completed forms to TABA.  The contact information is listed in the left column.
