TABA invites you to join us in Dallas for two days of information, discussion and networking.  The 2014 College of Knowledge Conference registration is now open.

The two day conference has great speakers to help you prepare for and adjust to the changes in the market place.  Some of our topics this year include Essential Changes to a TPA's Offering in the post ACA world, ACA Pay or Play Update,  DOL's position on ACA compliance and enforcement and a discussion on the implementation of SB 822, the Silent PPO bill.  Speakers include, John Hickman of Alston, Bird, Glenn McLellan of McLellan Consulting Services, Cynthia Marcotte Stamer, PC and others.

We are also offering a second session track on Tuesday, spoolnsored by Fairmont Specialty.  Karen Schwabacher, President of Schwabacher Health Insurance Consulting, Inc. will present an all day Hands on Claims  Workshop.  Karen's class differs from any other Caims Workshop you will ever attend.  The difference is in the “Hands On” approach that lets you apply knowledge immediately, using real claim situations you see every day.

"Our style is not to lecture, but to build on the expertise the participants bring to each session.  What they take back to the workplace is a solutions orientation and a toolbox for identifying “red flags”, documenting efficient investigations, and making good claims decisions.  “Hands On” Claims Training is not a beginner’s course.  Attendees typically have many years of experience and solutions to share."  She will cover Fraud and Abuse and Decoding among other topics.  You will want to include your experienced claims personnel at this conference.

Conference registration rates are listed below.  There are discounted rates for the second registrant from the same company, and additional discounts for multiple attendees from the same company.  Your dues must be current to register at the “Member rate”.
