GREEN BUSINESS PROGRAM SPEAKER

Erica Gallegos will provide an overview of the Nevada Green Business Program, discuss what it takes to become Green Certified, and highlight the contents of the Brewery Checklist.

Erica serves as the Program Coordinator for Western Nevada College. She manages the GreenBizTracker database for the network and works directly with green businesses throughout the state. She graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Renewable Energy.

“Anyone can claim to be green. But a Nevada Green Business Certification not only exemplifies a company’s efforts to conserve resources, reduce waste, protect the environment, and prioritize future generations—it also shows that those efforts were verified by a legitimate third party.”
