GREEN BUSINESS PROGRAM SPEAKER
Erica Gallegos will provide an overview of the Nevada Green Business Program, discuss what it takes to become Green Certified, and highlight the contents of the Brewery Checklist.
Erica serves as the Program Coordinator for Western Nevada College. She manages the GreenBizTracker database for the network and works directly with green businesses throughout the state. She graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Renewable Energy.

Meet the Brewers
Patrick Dalton, Great Basin Brewing Company
Patrick traded a shirt and a tie for shorts and a hoodie when he joined the Great Basin Team five years ago. His personal love of the great outdoors and the Independent spirit of the Great Basin Brewing Company were a perfect match. Great Basin’s community outreach and their efforts to “make the world a better place, one pint a time” continue to drive the business in a direction he can be proud of. In his free time, Patrick, his wife, and their twins can be found enjoying all the fruits of the Great Basin region and surrounding mountains.
Hannah Kight, Breckenridge Brewery
Hannah is the Sr. Environmental and Safety Manager at Breckenridge Brewery in Littleton, CO. She holds a B.S. in Meteorology from Texas A&M and spend 5 years as an Air Quality Consultant for a variety of industries. She then became the Environmental Manager at the Anheuser Busch brewery in Houston, TX before moving on to a role as the Regional Director for Environmental and Safety for the Brewer’s Collective, the group of craft breweries under Anheuser Busch. After trying as many different beers around the country as she could while traveling for AB, she settled in the Denver metro in 2019 where she uses her degree to forecast the best beer-drinking weather.
Matt Garcia, Alibi Ale Works
Matt is the Head Brewer for Alibi Ale Works. He studied sustainability at Sierra Nevada College, and he now has over 10 years of brewing experience. Matt has also completed the UC Davis Intensive Brewing Science for Practical Brewing program.
Linda Lovelady, Nevada Craft Brewers Association
Linda sits on the board of the Nevada Craft Brewers Association as the Legislative Chairperson.
“We promote and support Nevada’s breweries and brewpubs, create an open line of communication between brewers and associated members, give back to our communities and be an advocate for more modern beer laws in the State of Nevada.”
