Engineering in a Virtual World with Minecraft Education

Minecraft Education is a giant game world in which students can invent, experiment, and collaborate. We'll learn coding in blocks and python as we use Minecraft as a platform to engineer solutions to problems in our real world.

Daily Schedue

Class will begin at 9 AM and end at noon.  Students will work on machines here at the SJCOE FabLab as they learn coding and engineering using minecraft education.  

What to Bring

Students should just bring themselves, but be prepared to have a sweater in case the air conditioning makes them a little chilly.

Behavior Issues

This is an enrichment activity and any behavior issues will result in immediate dismissal and removal from the course with no refunds provided.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

Required documents will be sent via email to the parent/guardian email listed above.  Each form will need to be filled out, signed, and brought to the first day of camp - June 28th.  Please arrive a few minutes early to process all paperwork.

Cancellations:  If not paying by credit card, your check or journal payment must be sent at least 10-days prior to the workshop or event.  If the workshop or event is cancelled by SJCOE, participants will be notified and will obtain a full refund. No refunds or credit will be given to participants. Substitutes are welcome
