2021 Durham Ferry Summer Day Camp, 1st offering Grades 3rd - 5th (7202) 

Do you love the outdoors? Join our Let’s Play Outside day camp at Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center in Manteca. We will explore the riverbanks of the San Joaquin River, learn about native animals and plants, build confidence, and craft.

Cost - $125 (including lunch)

Required documents will be sent via email to the parent/guardian email listed above.  Each form will need to be filled out, signed, and brought to the first day of camp.  Please arrive a few minutes early on the first day to process all paperwork.

Daily Schedule

This camp will be held at Durham Ferry Outdoor Education Center and will run from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM daily.

Lunch Break

There will be a 30-minute lunch break each day.  Lunch will be provided by a local caterer. If your student has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, they can bring their own sack lunch. Refrigeration is available.

What to Bring and Wear

Students should bring water bottle, hat, and sunglasses.

Students should be prepared for extreme weather and plan accordingly - sunscreen, bug spray, layers of clothing, etc. We request students with long hair to wear their hair up during the camp. 

All Students are required to wear face masks and sturdy closed toed shoes.  

Behavior Issues

This is an enrichment activity and any behavior issues will result in immediate dismissal and removal from the course with no refunds provided.

Cancellations:  If not paying by credit card, your check or journal payment must be sent at least 10-days prior to the workshop or event.  If the workshop or event is cancelled by SJCOE, participants will be notified and will obtain a full refund. No refunds or credit will be given to participants. Substitutes are welcome.
