Kids can start programming in elementary school! Scratch, an object-oriented programming language is capable of doing all sorts of computer tasks, even designing or modifying classic video games!
Daily Schedue
The camp will begin at 1:00 PM daily in the Harmony Grove Lab in the Wentworth Education Center at the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Students will be provided an electronic device to use both days. Camp is over each day at 4:00 PM.
Snacks:
Snacks will be provided. If your student has specific allergies or dietary restrictions, they can bring their own snack.
What to Bring
Students should just bring themselves, but be prepared to have a sweater in case the air conditioning makes them a little chilly.
Behavior Issues
This is an enrichment activity and any behavior issues will result in immediate dismissal and removal from the course with no refunds provided.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Required docuements will be sent via email to the parent/guardian email listed above. Each form will need to be filled out, signed, and brought to the first day of camp - June 8th. Please arrive a few minutes early to process all paperwork.
