NGSS Developing and Using Models Workshop for Grades 6-12 Educators (6810) 

Come to after school, hands-on work shop to explore how modeling  and models can be integrated into your classroom. Cross Cutting Concepts and Performance Expectations are foundational pieces in developing new lessons and shifting existing classroom practices to align with the Next Generation Science Standards. Models and the practice of modeling are key components to assess student understanding. We will investigate strategies and activities that can be adapted for implementation into grades 6-12.

Sign in begins at 4:15pm and the workshop will begin promptly at 4:30pm.  Dinner will be provided.

  • Cancellation Policy: If the workshop is canceled by SJCOE, registrants will be notified in advance and will obtain a full refund. No refunds will be given for participant cancellations.
