You are the Universe - 1 day workshop

Some spiritual teachings, in particular Tibetan Buddhism, talk about 'emptiness', that reality is not what it seems, that there are no absolute truths, and that all things are interconnected. The same idea pops up in Einstein's relativity, quantum physics, and even modern neuroscience.

In this workshop, based on David's forthcoming book, we will explore these links between science and spirituality and what this means for each of us.

You will learn:
  • how we only perceive a fraction of reality and how much of what we do perceive may be an illusion
  • how your mind creates your reality
  • how science and spirituality are converging
  • how everything is connected
  • how everything is relative
  • practical exercises for improving your spiritual connection
  • Why some scientists and philosophers believe that reality is a simulation (like the Matrix)
David will also share some meditations and techniques for helping you achieve a deeper perspective of life, the universe, and yourself as well as some practical insights for creating what you want in life.

The price for this workshop is €49.

About David: After completing his PhD, Dr David Hamilton worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 4 years, developing medicines for cardiovascular disease and cancer. Inspired by the placebo effect - how people in drug trials who receive placebos often experience the same improvements as those on the actual drugs - he resigned from the industry to study and teach the mind-body connection. David is now author of 9 books, including the bestsellers, 'How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body' and 'I Heart Me: The Science of Self-Love', and 'The 5 Side Effects of Kindness'. David writes a regular blog on his website and occasional blogs for Psychologies Magazine (Life Labs) and the US Huffington Post.  In 2016 he was voted 'Best MBS Writer' by readers of Kindred Spirit Magazine.
