Peggy Rowe Ward & Larry Ward in Portland - March 2016 

Peggy & Larry will offer three events, in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, at two locations:

  • Thursday Night Sangha - located at Friends of the Dhamma, March 24 7-9pm (free)

True Goodness.  Meditation, Dharma Talk, and Sharing with Peggy Rowe Ward.  Peggy is a Dharma Teacher in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.  Peggy incorporates movement, art, music, poetry and other forms of expression in her teaching.  She earned an EdD adult education, and Master's in Counseling Psychology.   

  • Friday Public Talk -  located at Heart Of Wisdom temple,  6401 NE 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97211, March 25 7-9pm (free)

America's Karma:  Coming thru the Mists of Ignorance.  This dharma talk by Larry Ward PhD  addresses America's legacy of racial promise and dysfunction from a unique, relevant and powerful perspective based on Buddhist Psychology.  This talk will explore the depth of conditioning within our collective dispositions and the path to their healing and transformation.The talk will begin with a guided meditation led by Peggy.  

  • Saturday Day of Mindfulness - located at Friends of the Dhamma, March 26 9am-3pm (registration required)

Living Buddha and Living Christ.  Join us for a day of mindfulness practices in the tradition of TNH.  We will enjoy sitting meditation, indoor and outdoor walking meditation, eating meditation, total relaxation, and a Dharma talk.  Larry Ward will offer practices of love and understanding embodied in the lives of these two great teachers that have been wheel turning Bodhisattvas.  Larry is an ordained Christian minister as well as a senior student and dharma teacher in the TNH tradition.
