Discover Exmoor's Heath Fritillary Butterflies

Join Megan Lowe (Butterfly Conservation) and Paul Camp (National Trust) on a walk around the National Trust's Halse Combe to view the Heath Fritillary butterfly. This is a great opportunity to enjoy views of the rare Heath Fritillary butterfly and learn about its life cycle and habitat requirements and find out about the work that is happening on Exmoor to restore its fortunes.

There will be opportunities to help out with surveys of the butterfly afterwards, for those interested to take part in the national monitoring of the species.

For further information, contact Megan Lowe, 'All the Moor Butterflies' Project Officer, Butterfly Conservation: 07827 460767 / mlowe@butterfly-conservation.org
