RENEW - Gospel Brunch Revival and Fundraiser 

My name is Alicia Bryan, the daughter of J.P. Bryan. I am the founder of Divine Health Center (DHC) and Divine Healing Center Church Inc a registered 501(c)(3). My Texas lineage runs deep, going back to Emily Austin Bryan Perry, sister of Stephen F. Austin, the "Father of Texas." This lineage is my source of inspiration, and through the stories passed down to me as a little girl it became clear that I have a duty to my state and nation to honor the courage and sacrifice that so many military members and first responders pay for with their lives and service to America and her people. 

We intend to grow our outreach by creating new programs that specifically support all military members and their families, first responders, pastors, and clergy to combat the effects of trauma and PTSD. These heroes are not receiving adequate care and support through government funding that they deserve. Therefore, I am appealing to you for your generous financial consideration.  I am asking you to partner with our cause to deploy the support and resources to those that so desperately need it through our Divine ReNewal program which has helped thousands.

Here is our strategic plan for 2021: 

• Expand our outreach and programs citywide, and beyond

• Launch additional programs specifically designed for first responders, military members, and clergy 

• Increase our curriculum, add more local classes, and training opportunities 

Through years of helping those with mental health and medical issues I became fascinated with cutting edge modalities for wellness affecting the mind body and spirit that can be administered holistically. 

This journey resulted in the founding of Divine Health Center, and Divine Healing Center Church Inc 501(c)(3), for which we have formulated a unique program, Divine ReNewal, that in one day offers solutions for long term emotional health issues. The tangible reality of the success seen is nothing short of miraculous! 

Over the past few decades, science has come to discover a common theme: intense trauma is actually one of the root causes of chronic illnesses. When trauma is experienced, a charge is left in the nervous system that initiates a self-protective or defensive response that gets locked in. Working with a trauma-informed professional can help to discharge excess energy from the system and take the pressure off other bodily functions which in turn promotes healing. Combining the power of emotional and spiritual healing with Divine ReNewal allows us to get at the very causes of diseases and disorders that have ravaged people rather than treating the symptoms. 

Our goal is to raise funds of which 100% of the proceeds go to ministry-related expenses, including funding scholarships for those in need to attend any of our programs and providing aftercare. 

Join us on September 11, 2020, at the Tobin Center from 11 AM – 1 PM for ReNew- Gospel Revival Brunch & Fundraiser. ReNew is not only a fundraiser but a day of redemption, on a day that was so tragic in our history. DHC is honored to be a part of the celebration of restoration.   

Our keynote speakers will share their compelling stories of how they overcame insurmountable odds, and now live victorious lives! 

Michael James Lindell is an American inventor, businessman, and entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of My Pillow. His story is a raw, authentic account of a man that thought his life would never rise above his serial, addiction-fueled failures and circumstances. He now speaks around the world sharing his message of hope.

Kate Merrick is the co-founder of the Reality family of churches along with her husband, Britt. In 2013, she endured the death of her daughter, Daisy Love, after suffering through cancer treatment for three and a half years. Kate is making her way back toward laughter and finding life to be filled with good things. 

Jacob Schick is a third-generation Marine, motivational speaker, and actor who epitomizes service and sacrifice. He is currently the CEO of 22KILL, an organization that has created a community that raises awareness and combats suicide by empowering veterans, first responders, and their families through traditional and non-traditional therapies.
