Who should attend: Parent Peer Support Specialist Training is for an individual with lived experience as the primary caregiver or parent of a child or children for whom they have navigated at least 2 child serving systems (mental health, substance use, developmental disability, physical health, juvenile justice, child protective services, education), on behalf of their child/children struggling with emotional, behavioral, mental health, or substance use challenges.
Individuals must complete the Parent Peer Support Training Application in order to be considered for this training. This application must be received by March 15, 2021 in order to attend the training.
