Equity and Inclusion: Cultural Competence and Humility in Health and Human Services Overview 

Part 1: The Cultural Competency Training (CCT) will be going over topics that are the fundamental of cultural competency to cultural humility, which will help attendees gain a better understanding of the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) and develop skills in diverse communities. The CCT curriculum includes, but is not limited to: compelling reasons for cultural competence, the dynamics of diversity, the impact of personal culture on communication, the cultural bumps and communicating effectively through an interpreter. You must attend this session if you want to to attend the advanced module on October 12, 2020
