Accident Investigation

Classes/training for CSI Mobile and CSI Office software designed especially for law enforcement personnel will be held on both April 8 (8:30 a.m. to 12 noon) and April 9 (1;15 to 4:45 p.m.) as part of the Carlson 30th Anniversary User Conference. A special fee (includes snack and lunch) of $50 will be charged to attend both classes on one of those days.

Classes will be conducted by Mike Flamm, Police Specialist, ACTAR #1331, and Rob Uhlenbrock, Police Specialist, both of whom consulted with Carlson Software during the development of the CSI Mobile and CSI Office software options.

Class Descriptions:

CSI Mobile
This 90-minute seminar will cover topics for the collection of field data for the experienced and novice total station operator alike. Topics from basic operation and field collection techniques extending to advanced crushed vehicle measurement protocols will be will be included. This seminar will apply to law enforcement or non-sworn personnel, crash reconstructionists, or anyone interested in advancing their total station efficiency with the use of CSI Mobile.

CSI Office
This seminar will introduce the new CSI Office 2013 product. Specially designed for crash and crime scene investigation, this new release was redesigned with an ease-of-use priority at an affordable cost. Demonstrations of the quick import functions from CSI Mobile or other total station equipment, along with the new room builder operations paired with the simple to understand interface is ideal for the first time user or experienced investigator. All law enforcement investigators or private crash/crime scene investigators are encouraged to attend.
