Open Planning Tools Group 4th Annual Symposium
Silver Spring Maryland
November 16, 17, & 18
Lincoln Institute of Land Policy
National Center for Smart Growth Research and Education, University of Maryland
Please join us in Slilver Spring Maryland for our annual symposium on open source tool use and innovation. This three day symposium at the Silver Spring Civic Center, a successfully redeveloped activity center and TOD that is Metro accessible, will educate and motivate you.
Building on years of work funded by the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the Sonoran Institute’s Western Lands and Communities Program, this intimate symposium serves as the country’s leading work-session for scenario planning tool developers, researchers, and high-level users.
We will highlight key projects coordinated by group members such as the curriculum development and the FOSS4G hackathon. An opportunity for tool developers to showcase their latest-and-greatest advances will be provided as well.
