"Sondheim in Concert" Youth Auditions 

Sing alongside adult performers in a rousing celebration of one of Broadway's greatest composers, Stephen Sondheim. Youth and adult performers sing a superb selection of songs from Sondheim's shows including Company, West Side Story, Into The Woods, Follies, Sunday In the Park With George, A Little Night Music, Merrily We Roll Along, Evening Primrose, West Side Story, Gypsy and more.

The show will be performed on Saturday, May 9th at the historic Marines' Memorial Theatre. Built in 1926, this intimate 550-seat jewel box theatre is located in the heart of San Francisco's theatre district between Union Square and Nob Hill.

Work with SFCMT’s “Sing For Your Supper” Musical Director Robert Michael Moreno. This show incorporates sheet music, and choral harmony singing accompanied by a grand piano.

Casting ages 8-17.

If selected to participate, the registration fee is $195 for ages 8-17. ($95 discount for those also participating in SFCMT’s “We Love Pop”) Cast members will be responsible for providing dance shoes, a black dress or renting a tux and selling tickets to the show.

Rehearsal time: 2:45-4:15pm.
