CLASS 1 UNDERSTANDING YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA MAY 28 7 P.M.
Learn how the buttons, menu items, dials, and just about everything on your camera works. We'll learn about histograms, white balance, jpeg vs raw, and so much more. If you don't understand much of what you camera does, this is the starting point.
CLASS 2 SHOOTING IN MANUAL MODE JUNE 4 7 P.M.
Only in manual mode can you get the sharpest and most perfect exposures EVERY TIME! We'll learn the three factors to making a perfect picture: ISO, Aperture and Shutter. You'll learn how to use you camera's light meter too. ANd blurry pictures? Never get a blurry picture again, except when yoiu want to!
CLASS 3 COMPOSITION and CRITIQUE JUNE 11 7 P.M.
Once you understand your camera, learn how to make images that are pleasing to the eye. Composition is the rules that will elevate your image from a snapshot to a work of art. PLUS, submit 3-5 images and we'll talk about what went wrong and what went right so you can make better iimages next time!

Lawrence has been a professional photographer for 22 years - 13 years as a freelance photojournalist working for The Grand Rapids Press and Kalamazoo Gazette and 22 years as a portrait, event and wedding photojournalist.
