USPA Safety Day 2017 at Start Skydiving 

You are invited to join us here at Start Skydiving for our annual Safety Day event on Saturday, March 4th, 2017, which is coming up soon! Please note that we always hold our Safety Day at Start Skydiving one weekend prior to the official date set by the USPA every year. We do this so skydivers may also attend Safety Day at other dropzones that use the official USPA date. This is how strongly we encourage you to attend our Safety Day event at Start Skydiving!

You do not want to miss this great opportunity to catch up with your skydiving family and refresh your knowledge and skills regarding skydiving safety, especially after a long winter layoff. Everyone will learn something or remember something they have forgotten. Safety Day at Start Skydiving is entirely free for all to attend. 

All skydivers of every skill and experience level are strongly encouraged to attend, including student skydivers that have at least completed the Accelerated Free-Fall Category A First Jump Course. While Safety Day is not necessarily intended for people that have only ever done tandem skydives, you are still invited to join us! This is a great chance to meet the skydiving community, learn more about all of the different safety aspects of skydiving, and hear an amazing story from an American hero! We only ask that you be aware that the incentives being offered such as the raffle and the discounted jumps are intended for licensed skydivers only.

Register now! Everyone who attends will be offered free jumps, special discounts, and a free lunch! There will also be door prizes for everyone who attends! Don't miss out! 

We will be bringing back our special Safety Day Rate due to popular demand. This special rate will be exclusive to only those who attend this year's Safety Day and it can be used all season long. Our special Safety Day bulk/block jump prices will also be available for purchase for those who attend.

We will also be holding a raffle for free jump tickets and skydiving gear discounts. There will be at least 50-60 drawings during the raffle! That's about every one in four or five people that attend!

Of course, it would not be Safety Day without our Round-Robin Safety-Stations and our skydiving safety presentations that will cover every aspect of our wonderful sport. Each safety station will give you a raffle ticket. You must complete each safety station to redeem your tickets. You must also be present for the entire day to enter and win the raffle items.

We will also have a special guest speaker,  US Navy SEAL Senior Chief James "Jimmy" Hatch! This man is a true American hero who has saved the lives of several fellow brothers-in-arms.
