11/11/19, 12/9/19, 1/13/20, 2/10/20 Middle School Special Education MATH Cadre ONLINE ONLY

Target Audience: 

Middle School Special Education Teachers, Middle School Co-Teaching teams

Description: 

This cadre is designed to support teachers of students with disabilities in middle grades math classrooms.  The four days will focus on Specially Designed Instruction, implementing High Leverage Practices for Special Education, using data to make instructional decisions, developing content knowledge through progressions of concepts, addressing misconceptions, and highlighting resources for the classroom.  Additionally, follow-up support will be provided.

The sessions will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Eastern time each day.

Participants will be sent the link via an email prior to training.

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
