9/9/19 and 10/30/19 Functions of Applied Behavior Analysis and Informal Assessment Data Collection

Description: 

This 2 part training is intended for school and district level special education personnel who work with special education students with severe behaviors.  Participants must attend BOTH days. Day one will cover the five basic functions of behaviors. Participants will practice operationally defining behaviors and how to collect and use data to informally assess potential functions of the defined behaviors.   Participants will be required to apply their learning to their specific students upon return to their classrooms. Participants will bring their collected student data to day two where they will learn to analyze the data and design an intervention based on the data collected.  EILA and CEU's applied for.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
