Description: Participants will: (1) learn how to recognize epileptic seizures, (2) learn how to apply seizure first aid, (3)
learn strategies for creating a trauma informed classroom and school for students diagnosed with a seizure
disorder, and (4) learn strategies for managing the mental health and behavioral problems (debilitating
problems of inattention, anxiety or mood disorders) of students who are diagnosed with a seizure.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.
Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
