Description: 

When stress builds up, there is the potential for it to turn into longer term problems.  Most people feel low and sad at times Anxiety and depression are both widespread in our world today. Anxiety disorders are often linked to depression."People who are depressed often feel anxious and worried, so one can trigger the other.""Anxiety often comes before depression." It's important that both conditions are treated simultaneously.

 Looking for clear cut strategies for assessing and treating depression and anxiety in the school settings?  Come and learn specific intervention techniques that are detailed, with a focus on approaches that are evidence based, and easy to implement. Including ready to use worksheets, and addresses prevention oriented social and emotional learning curricula for the classroom.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
