Target Audience: Middle school special education teachers and middle school co-teaching teams (special education/general education)  

Description: 

This cadre is designed to support teachers of students with disabilities in the middle grades.  The five days will focus on SDI strategies (including explicit instruction and concrete—semi-concrete—abstract), gathering present level data, developing content knowledge through progressions of concepts, and highlighting resources for the classroom.  Additionally, in-school follow-up support will be provided each semester.

Please note that CKSEC accepts Purchase Orders and checks as forms of payment, for auditing purposes, we can not accept cash.

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
