Description: The session is designed to introduce persons newly assigned as ARC Chairpersons to the roles and responsibility of this position. Participants will become familiar with: steps in conducting an ARC, the different types of ARC’s, categories of special education, and State/ Federal laws/regulations impacting chairing an ARC. Opportunities to discuss, role-play, and network with other professionals concerning the role of ARC Chairperson will be provided.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
