Creating a Safe and Secure Future:

Estate and Financial Planning Issues for Students with Disabilities and Their Families -NO FEE

Speaker: Sally Miracle

 Target Audience: Parents and family members of students with disabilities.

Description:  

This informational session will assist families of and students with disabilities to understand the importance of long range and financial planning. 

It is never too early but it can be too late!    

Topics to be covered include: Guardianship and Supported Decision Making, Special and Supplemental Needs Trusts (SNT), Funding a SNT, STABLE Accounts and How Work and SSI Can Work Together

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
