6-18-18 Increasing Compliance Through Reinforcement Strategies- No Fee for Member Districts, $35 Fee for Non Member Districts

Speaker: Laura Ferguson

Target Audience: Any school staff

Description:  When working with new students with disabilities it is often difficult to understand how to begin to engage them in instructional practices. Teachers may often see an increase in inappropriate behaviors unless we can teach replacement behaviors. In order to teach these replacement behaviors we need to understand reinforcement strategies. During this training we will take a look at how to increase compliance with students with disabilities without using consequence strategies, but instead teaching replacement behaviors using reinforcement.  SLP CEU’s and EILA hours will be applied for.

EILA: Yes
