Description: This session is for teachers new to Guided Reading.  Day one is an introduction to Guided Reading using the new resources from Jan Richardson.  The focus will be using formative assessment and designing differentiated instruction for different levels of readers.  Participants will leave with ideas for preparing for, planning and progress monitoring Guided Reading.

Participants will receive “The Next Steps Forward in Guided Reading” text.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
