Target Audience:  Teachers of the Blind/Visually Impaired, Special Education Teachers, Para Educators, Administrators, and Regular Education Teachers who work directly with students with visual impairments

Description:  The CKEC Cadre for Teachers of the Blind/Visually Impaired invites all educators who are members of CKEC and work with students who are blind/visually impaired to meet with us every other month. Cadre members must have their district’s permission to attend. Each session will feature Kentucky School for the Blind updates, professional learning opportunities, and information on topics specific to the field of VI. Cadre members should pre-register for each session they plan to attend. Registration is required for each cadre meeting date.

PAYMENT POLICY

Please note that CKSEC accepts Purchase Orders and checks as forms of payment, for auditing purposes, we can not accept cash. 

Be sure to confirm with PO # prior to registration. 

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
