Description:
This two day workshop will provide participants with the tools to implement the Positive Approach to Student Success (PASS) Program. The PASS program is founded on the belief that children with emotional and behavioral disabilities benefit behaviorally from educational experiences with non-disabled peers and academically from participation in the general curriculum. Designed by a behavior specialist and a licensed psychologist, PASS was developed to provide students with serious emotional disturbance individualized programming that incorporates “best practices” in serving youth with challenging behavior. This program assists with closing the achievement gap by having students obtain the core content from a highly qualified teacher, and support for social emotional challenges from a behavior coach. Each participant will receive a PASS implementation manual.
