6-16-17 Using the BIP to Improve Student Outcomes

Target Audience: K-12 Classroom teachers, counselors, special educators, administrators, PASS coaches, school psychologists

Description: 

This session will connect the strategies on the behavior intervention plans to teaching specific replacement skills for students with social skill deficits. Emphasis will be on identifying the social skill deficits, isolating the replacement behaviors and implementing social skills instruction that all match the function of the behavior.  Join us to reflect on your own classroom practices and to design practical strategies that can be implemented to improve outcomes for students with social skill challenges.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
