Target Audience: Teachers of the Visually Impaired and Teachers of Moderate & Severe Disability

Description:  Cortical Visual Impairment is the current leading cause of visual impairment in children.  Participants will be introduced to the unique characteristics of students with CVI and strategies for immediate implementation into their classrooms. Part of the session will be dedicated to participants creating materials that can be used with students having CVI.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
