Speaker: Melinda Ault

Target Audience: All school staff

Description:  All teachers must collect data to monitor the progress of their students to determine if the instruction is effective and if students are moving toward mastery of their goals and objectives.  Keeping the data collection manageable and meaningful can be a challenge.  In this session, Dr. Melinda Ault will teach participants an easy method for collecting and analyzing data to determine if students are making adequate progress.  Participants are requested to bring their own instructional data to develop data monitoring systems. Methods to use to modify instruction when students are not progressing adequately will be discussed, and sample data collection sheets and graphs will be distributed.
