(Cancelled) Common Core Standards for ELA Overview, (PM) 7-26-16

Target Audience:  New teachers, teachers new to teaching mathematics, administrators wanting an overview of the CCSS ELA standards

Description: Are you new to teaching ELA?  Are you a new administrator without a background in the ELA standards?  Then this workshop is for you!  This session will provide an overview of the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts.  Participants will learn how to read the standards, explore big ideas within the grade level standards, investigate connections within their grade level(s), and consider vertical progressions of the standards.  Resources will be shared for delving more deeply into the standards.

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
