Big Ticket Items for Guided Reading Implementation, (AM) 6-21-16 

Speaker: Lisa King

Target Audience: School and district administrators, instructional coaches, Curriculum supervisors. This session is for those who are currently implementing or considering implementing Guided Reading Initiatives.

Description:  Administrative support is a critical aspect for any successful change in a school or district.

This session will focus on the three phases of implementing Guided Reading and ideas for building capacity.  Participants will learn look fors and coaching questions for each phase, understand teaching behaviors for effective implementation of lesson components and how to structure the school environment for change.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
