Mathematics Coaching: A Framework for Instructional Change 9-12-16 

Speaker: Maggie McGatha

Target Audience: Mathematics instructional coaches and administrators at all grade levels

Description:  This workshop is designed to help mathematics instructional coaches at all grade levels implement the KCAS and be effective leaders of change in their schools/districts.  The day will focus on a framework and process for coaching and shifting practice within your building.   The presenter, Dr. Maggie McGatha, is the co-author of the book, Mathematics Coaching: Resources and Tools for Coaches and Leaders, K-12. Dr. McGatha is a former middle school mathematics teacher, colleague instructor, and an expert in the field of instructional coaching. Each participant will receive a copy of Mathematics Coaching: Resources and Tools for Coaches and Leaders

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
