CKEC Teachers of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Cadre(9-25-15)-No fee

Target Audience: Teachers working with students that are deaf or hard of hearing

Description: This Cadre is open to anyone working with students who have hearing loss.  Teachers of the DHH, SLPs, ECE teachers, etc.  Regular education teachers and preschool teachers are very welcome.  Planned topics for this year are: HI guidance document sections; Functional Listening Evaluations; Expanded Core Content; Personal Future Planning; and Technology (FM/DM systems, apps, etc.)  For more specific information, please contact Sue Frisbee at sue.frisbee@ksd.kyschools.us.

Please note that CKSEC accepts Purchase Orders and checks as forms of payment, for auditing purposes, we can not accept cash.

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
